August 15, 2019 – The Keyes Company’s Carlos Villanueva, Frank DeValdivielso and Manuel Perez successfully represented Wild Fork Foods – one of the world’s largest meat producers – in its lease for a brand-new location in Miami’s West Kendall neighborhood. With the latest transaction, Keyes has now represented Wild Fork in leases for all five of its Miami-Dade County locations.
Wild Fork signed a five-year lease with two five-year renewal options for the 3,611-square-foot freestanding building at 15703 SW 88th St. The transaction was completed as a lease assignment from Payless ShoeSource and had to be approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Court as part of the shoe retailer’s larger bankruptcy case.
Earlier this year, Villanueva – District Sales Manager of the firm’s Coral Gables office – represented Wild Fork in four transactions totaling more than 19,200 square feet in Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Doral.
“It has been incredibly exciting to be part of Wild Fork’s successful foray into the Miami-Dade market,” Villanueva said. “This new deal was a true team effort and resulted in an ideal solution for a prime retail building that needed a strong long-term tenant to replace Payless.”
Wild Fork Foods is known nationally for delivering a farm-to-fork experience through high-quality sourcing of protein, a blast-freezing process and same-day delivery to its store locations.
Keyes Commercial Real Estate produced $322 million in transaction volume in 2018. It was ranked No. 10 in the South Florida Business Journal’s annual list of the largest commercial brokerages in South Florida, based on aggregate volume of sales and leases in the region.
“We congratulate Carlos, Frank and Manuel for working together to secure another top-tier location for Wild Fork,” Keyes President and CEO Mike Pappas said. “The Keyes Commercial team continues to prove that our firm is a leader across all real estate sectors.”
Keyes is the largest independently owned real estate firm in Florida and a Top 30-ranked firm in the entire United States, and is extremely active in luxury residential real estate. In 2018, Keyes generated $6.7 billion in real estate services across its Family of Companies.
