January 28, 2020— The Klabin Company/CORFAC International today announced it negotiated a lease on behalf of Mitco Global at a refurbished industrial building in the Rancho Business Center at 7300 Flores Street in Downey, Calif.
The Klabin Company’s Zach Middleton and Max Farkas represented Mitco Global in the 63-month lease transaction for 122,500 square feet of space valued at more than $7.2 million. The Landlord, Fremont Associates, was represented by Eric Knirk.
Mitco Global will use the industrial facility to expand its operations in the Los Angeles market and is moving from its previous location in La Mirada where it currently occupies 60,000 square feet. Middleton and Farkas began working with the team at Mitco more than two years ago to find the right property to accommodate the global logistics provider’s growth.
“We spent the better part of the last two years searching and touring countless numbers of potential properties,” said Middleton. “We were actually far down the line on securing another building near their current facility when we decided to tour 7300 Flores Street. The building’s physical characteristics, image and location, combined with an engaging Landlord who committed to provide substantial upgrades to the building, made this building a perfect fit for Mitco Group as they continue to grow in Los Angeles and beyond.”
Mitco Global is a leading third-party logistics provider which primarily operates in port-adjacent markets. As a full-service provider, it can accommodate a wide range of needs for its clients including transportation, drayage, transloading, distribution and e-commerce solutions.
