October 11, 2017— Nine innovative proptech startups from all around Europe will face off next week at MIPIM UK in a competition aimed at finding the most promising and innovative startups tackling key challenges in real estate.
This year the real estate Startup Competition at MIPIM UK, which runs from 18-19 October at London Olympia, will be the second round of a global competition aimed at identifying the most promising and innovative startups that are addressing the biggest urban challenges around the world.
The competition, which is developed in partnership with global real estate tech partner MetaProp NYC, takes place in New York, London and Hong Kong, with the startups competing for a place in a grand finale at MIPIM Cannes in March 2018.
The finalists include Credit Builder (U.K), a reporting rent payments to credit Agencies; Disruptive Technologies (U.K) , which manufactures stamp-sized, 15-year connected sensors with connectivity and APIs included; FutureBricks (U.K), an alternative lending platform for UK’s smaller house builders; Grid Edge (UK), a business that uses AI to allow consumers to optimise energy networks; Urban Data Analytics (Spain), which provides big data solutions for cities; Ween (France), which has developed a wireless thermostat solution for ‘smart’ homes; Physee (Netherlands), which has developed a technology in windows that turns sunlight into electricity; Spaceti (Czech Republic) , a smart building innovator whose proprietary technology enables indoor location and navigation solutions and INTELSYS.build (UK), which builds an end-to-end cloud solution for EC&O (Engineering, Construction and Operations) companies.

The Innovation Forum will give visitors great insight into the future of real estate and it’s going to be a very interesting two days.”
Sahar Hashemi, Co-Founder of Coffee Republic and Co-Chair of the UK Government’s Scale-Up Taskforce, will deliver the Startup Competition keynote speech, on Thursday 19 October at 11 am.

The startup competition forms part of the Innovation Forum at MIPIM UK, which will bring together, in the exhibiting area, small and large companies showcasing their innovative projects.
