September 19, 2019 – Dennis Someck, Executive Managing Director/Principal, Justin Myers, Senior Managing Director/Principal, and Conor Krup, Director, of Lee & Associates NYC have arranged a three-year, 5,962-square-foot lease on the entire second floor at 155 Wooster Street, between West Houston and Prince Streets, for the office of WiredScore, a connectivity rating system for commercial buildings.
Seeing as internet connectivity is among the top three most important factors for tenants who are searching for office space, WiredScore enables property owners to understand, improve and promote their buildings’ digital infrastructure. WiredScore certification levels include “Certified,” “Silver,” “Gold,” and “Platinum.” With its headquarters in New York City, the company has offices in Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Dallas.
As a testimony to WiredScore’s international reach, there are also offices in Berlin, Paris, London and Toronto. In New York City, WiredScore is moving from 494 Broadway where they were previously housed in 2,700 square feet of space. The company’s clients include the likes of Blackstone, Tishman Speyer, Hines and SL Green Realty Corp.
“There is no better neighborhood for a growing technology company than Soho and 155 Wooster Street is right in the center of this dynamic area,” explains Someck, who represented the owner, Centurion Realty, in this transaction with his partner, Myers. “The building itself is also currently undergoing the WiredScore certification process, meaning that the company’s own building will serve as a shining example of WiredScore’s work.”
“We’re thrilled about our move to 155 Wooster and our continued growth in Soho,” says Philip Kanfer, Senior Director at WiredScore. “As we’ve continued to grow the Wired Certification platform, now with over a half a billion square feet certified from the most prominent real estate owners in the country, we needed a space to not only accommodate our expanding team but also one that fits with the creative culture at WiredScore.”
“155 Wooster Street has a history with young, fast-growing companies, such as WiredScore,” explains Albert Cohen, Principal at Centurion Realty. “The WiredScore team will fit right in at this building and the surrounding neighborhood will provide them with all of the amenities that they desire.”
The tenant was represented by Someck, Myers and Krup of Lee NYC. WiredScore is expected to take occupancy at 155 Wooster Street in September 2019. Asking rent was $80 per square foot.
Also at 155 Wooster Street, Lee NYC has the 5,962-square-foot penthouse with outdoor roof deck currently available for lease.
