September 14, 2017— Cromwell Property Group, the global real estate investment manager, has pre-let 80% of the space at its Janki Shopping Centre extension.
Once complete, the c.€65 million extension will add 21,000 sqm of retail space to the existing shopping centre, creating a 94,000 sqm prime retail destination in Poland. New occupiers include Inditex group (Zara, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Bershka, Oysho), LPP group (Reserved, Mohito, Cropp, House, Sinsay), Etno Café, Starbucks, Etam, Deichmann, Rossmann, CCC, Superpharm, Martes Sport, Intimissimi, Calzedonia, Zieleniak, Toys Box, Time Station, Nubalo, Lego and 4F. The existing centre is anchored by an Auchan hypermarket and is already home to other major retailers including H&M, C&A and Go Sport
As one of Poland’s first shopping centres, Janki opened in 1999 and has maintained strong occupancy ever since. Completion of the extension project is expected prior to Easter 2019 and will be run in two separate phases.

Marta Grabska, Head of Leasing, Retail, Poland at Cromwell Property Group, commented: “We are satisfied with the leasing process so far. We only have one medium-size c.1,000 sqm unit left, along with a few units less than 250 sqm, which we would like to lease to local tenants.”
Janki Shopping Centre was one of Poland’s first modern shopping centres and is part of the Cromwell Polish Retail Fund (CPRF).
