November 7, 2019 – CIRCA, the premier twin tower luxury apartment complex considered the crown jewel of the South Park district in downtown Los Angeles, has finalized a lease with Mastro’s Ocean Club, a renowned steak and seafood restaurant. Mastro’s, which is known for world-class service and cuisine in an elegant atmosphere, will occupy 14,000 square feet of ground floor space on Figueroa Street across the street from Staples Center and L.A. Live.

“Mastro’s fine-dining experience integrates perfectly into the CIRCA lifestyle and South Park’s world-class entertainment district to round out our vision for the complex,” said Scott Dobbins, president of Hankey Investment Company, who represents the CIRCA ownership which includes Dr. David Lee, Shawn Zachary and Don Hankey, the development team that masterminded the project. “With 70 percent of CIRCA’s twin towers already leased, the addition of world-class cuisine at the ground level is why CIRCA continues to raise the bar for downtown luxury living.”

When the restaurant opens in 2020, it will be Mastro’s seventh location in Southern California and 17th nationwide.

The new CIRCA location will offer this experience to both residents and visitors. With a StubHub office located at CIRCA, visitors can park, enjoy fine dining and then pick up tickets and use the StubHub lounge before crossing the street to events at L.A. Live or Staples Center.

Mastro’s joins StubHub as well as the 6,000-square-foot flagship retail branch for the Los  Angeles/Southern California region for Chase private banking clients.

Built on 2.7 acres at the gateway to L.A. Live, CIRCA’s twin 35-story towers comprise 648 luxury residences and 48,000 square feet of total retail space. Each residence is built to condo specifications with opulent European high-end finishes. They range in size from one-bedroom, 600-square-foot units to 4,000-square-foot penthouses with three bedrooms. Most residences have balconies with panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles, the San Gabriel Mountains, the Pacific Ocean, or overlooking Staples Center.
These luxury apartments allow residents to feel as if they were living in a “mini-city” and offer posh, resort-style living and conveniences. Residents can unwind in their own two-acre exquisitely landscaped rooftop park, aptly named “Level 8”, floating 100 feet in the air at the top of the development’s base podium. The state-of-the-art fitness center offers a cycling studio, indoor/outdoor yoga and Pilates facilities. Other amenities include a circular resort pool, a 75- foot lap pool, two spas, private poolside cabanas, outdoor fireplaces and firepits, strolling gardens to offer a respite from city life, outdoor Viking barbecues with private open-air dining areas, two dog parks with a grooming area, outdoor trellises with heating and music, a Staples Center viewing deck with skyline views and much more.

CIRCA is a central hub for a sophisticated, urban, Los Angeles lifestyle with a transportation- oriented location on the Los Angeles Metro Rail’s Expo Line and Blue Line, and the 10 (Santa Monica), 110 (Harbor), and 101 (Hollywood) freeways.
