December 1, 2017 – CBRE Global Investors announced today the completion of its $2.3 million renovation project at 235 Pine Street, the iconic 25-story Class A office tower located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district.

Improvements to the 164,405-square-foot tower include a dynamic 5-Star conference center featuring tech-equipped conference rooms and collaborative breakout areas; a modernized lobby defined by its classic feel and historic public art; a secure bike rack storage area; shower and locker room facelifts; a recreation area with soft seating and a TV; and sleek corridor finishes. The building is also finalizing a new “plug and play” spec suite that features open layouts, state-of-the-art furniture and the latest technology for companies seeking move-in ready office space.

Suites offering spectacular skyline views that range from 2,199 to 8,342 square feet are available throughout the building. Companies that have relocated to 235 Pine Street in recent months include Empire Records, ApplePie Capital, Drive Motors, Rsquared and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The building is within walking distance of numerous BART stations, and features premier access to Interstate 80 and the Bay Bridge, reducing commutes to the East and South Bays by more than 20 minutes.

“CBRE Global Investors is pleased to announce the completion of this capital improvement project, which will help establish a forward-looking approach to 235 Pine Street,” said Jake Mota, Senior Director at CBRE Global Investors. “We are committed to delivering a superior workplace experience for our tenants, and our ability to quickly deliver turn-key, future-ready office spaces with a significant location advantage will make this an attractive destination for employers across the Bay Area.”

Tenants of 235 Pine Street are also surrounded by premier entertainment and dining options, including Union Square, the Embarcadero Centers, Crocker Galleria and The Ferry Building. Located in the Golden Triangle, the building features a Walk Score of 98/100.

“We’ve chosen to call 235 Pine Street home because of the superior management and forward-looking approach that always has an eye on attracting top talent,” said Craig DeMartini, Regional Operations Manager at Able Services, a facility operations and solutions provider located on the sixth floor. “The location factor is second to none, and the new 5-Star amenities that recently delivered are creating a renewed sense of energy and excitement that will serve us well in the years ahead.”

CBRE Global Investors acquired 235 Pine Street in 2014. The office tower has joined CBRE’s exclusive “5-Star Worldwide” program, a national network of top-tier office buildings that attract and retain talent through a dynamic range of professional services, hospitality and events. Through this network, 235 Pine Street tenants have access to amenities offered at all 5-Star Worldwide properties.
