In this role, Danilo will be responsible for managing Arrow’s investment business in Germany, working closely with Christian Bearman and Katherine Parker, Partners in the European business.
Prior to joining Arrow, Danilo worked at Valad Europe/Cromwell Property Group for seven years, latterly as Head of Germany. He has also held senior asset management roles at HIH Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung and Deutsche Real Estate AG.
He holds an MBA in International Real Estate from Bauakademie Biberach.
Backed by AMB Capital, one of Australia’s largest family offices, Arrow Capital Partners was set up in 2015 by Martyn McCarthy, Managing Partner and Kurt Wilkinson, Partner, with its expansion into Europe being led by Christian Bearman, Partner, Head of Europe.
As a real estate investor and operator, Arrow Capital Partners targets equity and debt opportunities, specialising in cross-border transactions where it can use its platform and balance sheet to invest with US and Asia-Pacific investors into Europe, as well as European and US investors into the Asia-Pacific region.
Christian Bearman, Partner, Head of Europe at Arrow Capital Partners, said: “Having worked with Danilo closely in the past, we are looking forward to teaming up with him again as we expand the Arrow Capital Partners platform into Germany. Over the years, Danilo has developed exceptional knowledge and experience of working on many deals and mandates across Germany’s regional markets.”
Danilo Hunker, Head of Germany at Arrow Capital Partners, commented: “It’s great to be back working with so many familiar faces again and I’m delighted to work for such a solid and capable platform. We are currently at a crucial phase in the real estate investment cycle in Germany as yields narrow in many of the core markets. As a result, investors are looking for opportunities in the more peripheral markets where good asset selection is of critical importance and relies on excellent market knowledge. As an owner and operator of assets, Arrow Capital Partners is unencumbered by artificially set investment horizons and is therefore in an excellent position to invest in opportunities across Germany.”
